Kevin Young has been trying serious cases across the country for over 30 years. He has represented individuals, partnerships, small business owners, and some of the largest corporations in the world. Since 1989, Kevin Young has successfully represented clients throughout Texas, California, Colorado, Louisiana, and New Mexico. Young has tried over 60 cases to verdict and secured several multi-milliondollar settlements. Most of his client representation is now focused on Commercial Litigation/Arbitration (business disputes, contracts, construction litigation, oil & gas), but he continues to defend product liability cases for selected clients.

Young has been rated “AV Preeminent” by his peers for over 25 years, which is the highest possible rating for legal knowledge, communication skills, and ethical standards. In 2023, he was again named a “Super Lawyer” by his peers and was recognized as one of the “Best Lawyers in America” in Business Litigation. He has also completed the 40-Hour Texas Certified Mediator Training and has been mediating cases for more than 5 years.

Kevin and his wife, Cindy, have four children: Whitney (graduate of Pepperdine University), Delaney (graduate of Wheaton College), Nathan (graduate of Wheaton College), and Jackson (Texas A&M University). Kevin served on various community boards and the board of directors at the Geneva School of Boerne for many years. The Young family are members of Currey Creek Church in Boerne, Texas.

Services Overview

All parties represented by a single attorney are deemed “one party” for the purposes of the fee. For out-of- town mediations, payment for travel time and mileage will be negotiated on a case-by-case basis. The fee for services includes the following:

SCHEDULING AND ADMINISTRATION OF MEDIATION SERVICES.

PREPARATION FOR AND CONDUCTING ANY CONFIDENTIAL PRE-MEDIATION ATTORNEYS’ CONFERENCES.

REVIEW OF CONFIDENTIAL PRE-MEDIATION MATERIALS.

MEDIATION SESSION.

TECHNICAL SUPPORT PRE-MEDIATION TO ENSURE PARTIES ARE COMFORTABLE WITH THE VIRTUAL MEDIATION PROCESS.

DRAFTING THE BASIC MEDIATION SETTLEMENT AGREEMENT.

POST-MEDIATION COMMUNICATIONS, AS NECESSARY.

PROVIDING REFRESHMENTS FOR “IN PERSON” MEDIATIONS (INCLUDING LUNCH FOR FULLDAY MEDIATIONS).
