Kevin M. Young

Since 1989, Kevin has successfully represented clients in courtrooms throughout Texas, as well as California, Colorado, Louisiana and New Mexico. Kevin has tried over 60 cases to verdict mostly as defense counsel and secured several multi-million-dollar settlements as lead attorney for Plaintiffs. Most of his time is devoted to Commercial Litigation/Arbitration (business disputes, contracts, construction litigation, oil & gas), although he continues to defend product liability cases for selected clients.

Kevin has been “AV Preeminent” rated by his peers for over 25 years – the highest possible rating for legal knowledge, communication skills and ethical standards. In 2023, he was again named a “Super Lawyer” by his peers and was again recognized as one of the “Best Lawyers in America” in Business Litigation.

For several years, Kevin was part of the Ven-A-Care legal team which helped recover hundreds of millions of dollars fraudulently taken from our state and federal governments (including a landmark $170M jury verdict in Austin, Texas). He completed the 40-Hour Texas Certified Mediator Training and has enjoyed mediating all types of cases for more than 5 years.

Kevin and his wife, Cindy, have four children: Whitney (2017 graduate of Pepperdine University), Delaney (2020 graduate of Wheaton College), Nathan (2023 graduate of Wheaton College) and Jackson (Texas A&M). Kevin served on the Board of Trustees at the Geneva School (and other non-profit organizations) for many years. The Young family are members of Currey Creek Church in Boerne, Texas.
