Kevin Young and Mark Wolfe obtained a favorable jury verdict in Hays County, Texas, on behalf of the plaintiffs in a breach of contract action. The Guidry’s entered into a contract for the sale of a large quantity of unique collectible items, which had been in the family for decades.   The defendant made a down payment on the collection but refused to pay the remaining agreed amount, and then sold the collection at auction. The plaintiffs sued for breach of contract, and the defendant alleged the contract was unenforceable due to duress, fraud, and illegality. Following a four-day trial, the jury awarded damages to the plaintiff and the trial court subsequently entered a final judgment for the plaintiffs.
